During the early 1980s Lizzie Líbera spent a few years
in Rome and Bari and travelled frequently inside Italy. It
was the time of the big "cantautori" like roman
Francesco de Gregori and genovese Fabrizio de André
with their ultimate poetical lyrics as well as strong and
rebellious female voices like Gianna Nannini, Loredana Berté
and Gabriella Ferri.
Líbera also discovered famous popular singers like
Paolo Conte, Lucio Dalla and Mina just like the folksound
of the traditional "canzone napoletana".
